Renewed ISO 9001:2015 / EN9120:2018
Successfully completed the ISO 9001:2015 / EN9120:2018 surveillance audit.
In October 2021, AK Steel International and its European locations were audited regarding the renewal of our ISO9001 / EN9120 (Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial markets) certifications. We are proud to announce that this surveillance audit confirmed that the processes within our organizations in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and the United Kingdom continue to meet and exceed the requirements of the audit standard.
The audit report notes that the entire supply chain process (purchasing, sales, distribution and service) remains and is at a very high industry level. Further comments by the auditor show that AK Steel International has a solid controlled process, which is maintained throughout the company through procedures and IT systems. AK Steel International is proud to have reaffirmed the traceability of delivered materials throughout the supply chain process.
As an outcome of this excellent result, our ISO 9001:2015 / EN9120:2018 certifications have been extended by 3 years until November 1, 2024.
